  1. Hey Crawford,
Good work on Constructivism! Have you looked into the primary writings of John Dewey? You would enjoy his short books on education. Try Experience and Education - let me know what you think! Also - check out "Digital Habitats" by Etienne Wenger. You can find his blog free online. Looking forward to your thoughts!

  3. Crawford,

Distance learning certainly places a higher internal locust of control on students. In my experience, conducting research and developing assignments in distance education is more difficult and puts greater stress on me than learning in a traditional classroom.

Using a mobile device, such as a tablet or phone, is something with which most people are now comfortable. I think you're correct in saying that false information is a valid weakness in mobile device learning, but I think you're also right in saying that common ground can make it more comfortable. Enabling learners by allowing them to use their own devices can ease the stresses associated with distance learning. Well done!

    Respectfully,
    John Bolsch
